Weekend LO's

Pretty productive weekend (well, as far as digiscrapping goes, LOL)

This one is for On Design's blog challenge. I saw this challenge a couple of weeks ago, and wanted to do it right away...but couldn't master the faded pic in the background...I finally figured it (Yah..for learning something new). I'm pretty happy with the outcome. I plan to print and extra copy to send to my mom.



I love the bright colors in this one. The alpha is from Randi..it is one of her older ones, but I've loved it from the first time I saw it. Everything else is JanaM (from Digichick)

Circle of Love

This alpha has been in Randi's stores for a little while, but I finally got to use it in a LO. I kept waiting to get the perfect picture to use with this alpha...and, well, Kai just wouldn't cooperate....so I had to go with Plan B. The papers and frame are also from Randi (her Mom's collab kit)



I found the circle love frame from aprilmouse, sleeping beauty kit. BTW: Its a FREEBIE kit! Lots of great freebies on her blog.

I've busted out several LO's over the past week or so...but haven't had the time to get them posted here. Most are made with my new favorite designer, Natali Designs! (OMG...what I would do to get on her CT).

Two new favorite designers...

I recently discovered these two designers and I am LOVING THEM!

I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out. I bought both of these kits (Jofia Devoe Beautiful Day and The grass is green) and am just now getting around to using them. She is one of my new favorite designers! Such pretty stuff!

Card Alpha LO

Randi added this cool alpha to her store a while back and I'm just now getting to do a LO with it. I knew I had some card playing pics somewhere...but it took me awhile to locate them on my massive hard drive! I think this alpha is just SO COOL and original! She has it for sale at both ACOT and gottapixel

No longer a "Non-Mom" now I'm an "adoptive" mom

Boy, did the adoption community create an uproar about the "Non-mom" category!! As you can see on the comment below, they did make an apology and did change the category title to Adoptive Mom. Well, I'm glad they apologized...but they have missed our point entirely. There is zero need for the distinction. We do not the "adoptive" title before mom...we are just mom. M-O-M!!!! (not to even mention that I have both a biological child and a child adopted...) Ahh...well, at least we rallied together and were quite successful in having our voices heard.

Well, for whatever reason, you HATE those sandles. You whined and pouted until I finally took them off. Now, whenever I pull them out you immediately start scraming and running. Okay, fine....you can go barefoot!

1st Tol/Hanbok LO

I was able to pick up the Tol Kit by HelenaJole during the NSD sale. I've been wanting this for a while..but was waiting until I was ready to scrap Kai's tol pics...well...nothing like a good deal to get me ready. This is the first LO. The Korean says "Hanbok". I scraplifted the LO design from Leigh (Scraps of Time)

National Scrapbook Day...

Who knew such a thing existed?? I sure didn't a few months ago...probably would have laughed at the very idea...but now, well...today was the best day in a long time....I bought SOOOOO much stuff at super awesome prices!! Most stores run MAJOR sales today! My loving husband asked..."will $100.00 be enough?" UMM...I think I can manage with that!!! Boy, I've had fun today.
